When will I be able to see the full conference program?
We’ll post the Conference Overview and Detailed Session Agenda in May 2009.
What information can you give me about the educational program now?
the educational program spans four full days, with 12 concurrent educational sessions across four timeslots each day totaling 192 educational sessions. There are 26 “tracks” under which the educational sessions – see the Tracks Listing tab for descriptions of each track.
I would like to speak at the conference. How can I throw my name in the hat?
The volunteer team planning the conference sessions is still looking for speakers in some areas. Please send an email to 2009conf@iltanet.org listing the topics you could speak on and we will make sure to get that to the right people.
What is covered by my conference registration fee?
The member conference registration fee of $1,025 covers attendance at all educational sessions and networking events, entrance to the exhibit hall as well as registration materials and meals with the exception of Wednesday evening.
Is there a discount if more than one person comes from my firm/company?
The registration fee is only enough to cover all the expenses for each attendee, so it would mean ILTA loses money if there was a discount.
Can I reserve a hotel room before I register for the conference?
No, you will receive the link to reserve a hotel room when you register for ILTA '09.
I live in the DC area. Can I attend all or part of the conference for a reduced rate?
We are developing a plan to make it possible for many local members attend all or part of the conference. Watch for an announcement in the next couple of months.
What if I am not able to attend conference after registering for it?
Our challenge in planning the event is more daunting that in years past, as we have to mitigate the effects of the economic situation that confronts us all. It is very important for us to minimize the risk of late cancellations. To that end, the Board of Directors approved a change to our cancellation/refund policy. Through July 15, 2009, there is a $250 fee to cancel. From July 16 to August 15, the cancellation fee is $500. No refunds will be provided after August 15th.
